Well I hope you all had an enjoyable Christmas Vacation. Classes will resume Monday, January 5th, 2015.
Here are a few items for my schedule for January:
Calendar Events:
Monday, January 5th, 2015 - Back to School
Tuesday, January 13th, 2015 - School Mass at 9:45 am
Friday, January 23rd, 2015 - P.A. Day
Mathematiques (Math):
Data Management - We will be concluding this unit over the next two days with Review before our Test.
The Data Management Test will be on Wednesday, January 7th, 2015. I will be sure to post an outline of what is expected of them in the Math Section.
Patterning & Algebra - We will be beginning this unit on Thursday, January 8th, 2015.
There will be a Quiz on what the students have learned on Thursday, January 15th, 2015.
Measurement - We will be beginning this unit on Thursday, January 15th, 2015, after their Quiz.
There will be a Quiz on what the students have learned on Thursday, January 22nd, 2015.
Operations - We will be incorporating operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division) throughout the month of January within all of our units.
There will be a Quiz on what the students have learned on Thursday, January 29th, 2015.

* I am putting a great emphasis on Math so that the students will be well prepared and comfortable when taking their EQAO test. Although we do regularly practice at school, you are encouraged to practice EQAO questions at home. *
